Homeopathy is both a science and an art, based on the Law of
Similars, as described by Hippocrates and Paracelsus during the time of the
Greeks. In the 1800’s Samuel Hahnemann brought it into its present form. Over
many years of study I have observed that homeopathy can bring about profound
changes deeply beneficial to all aspects of an individual’s life by stimulating
the
vital force.
My family and I started seeing a homeopath in 1970, while
living in London, England. One afternoon, when my son
was a year and a half, he spilled freshly brewed hot tea over his entire
face. He was given a homeopathic remedy
and homeopathic salve was applied. Afterwards, there was never a trace that he
was ever burned. A few months later, I
fell down a flight of steps. I was given a homeopathic remedy and never even
had a black and blue mark. Both of these incidents convinced me that homeopathy
worked. I continued seeing homeopathic practitioners in Europe
where homeopathy was, and still is, widely practiced.
Returning to the United States,
I enrolled in the Institute
of Classical Homeopathy,
completed the rigorous four-year program in 2000, and in 2001 was admitted as a
member of the British Register of Complementary Practitioners in Homeopathy. In
2007, I passed the Council for Homeopathic Certification exam and became a
member of the North American Society of Homeopaths.
I
have had my own homeopathic practice in the Bay area since 1999. I work with
both adults and children and with chronic and acute cases. I see clients outside the Bay area, throughout the
United States,
and overseas.
When you contact me, the homeopathic process will consist of
an initial comprehensive consultation of two and a half hours to discuss in
detail your personal history and symptoms.
I will then analyze your information, evaluate the case and discuss with
you the remedy selection. Follow -up appointments are scheduled four to five
weeks apart to assess your progress. I
closely monitor your case and remain committed to answering any questions you
may have.
I have been involved with homeopathy for the past
thirty-eight years and continue to regularly attend homeopathic seminars both
in the States and Europe. I stay in close
contact with respected homeopathic colleagues to exchange current information
and discuss new ideas. Grateful for the opportunity to share many years of
knowledge, enthusiasm and deep respect for this science and art, I dedicate my
homeopathic practice to the benefit of others.
