"The microscope only furnishes us a field of results, and beautiful as they are, the cause is not visible, we see only the results." James T. Kent
I became particularly interested in women’s health during college at Mills, an all women’s school in Oakland. Today, this is my primary focus in my practice. At Mills my studies in Biology led me to a career in scientific research. I’ve spent the last 15 years working with viruses, vaccines, and drug discovery. Even though I know that pharmaceuticals have played an important role in our society I have always believed they are not the key to health and healing.
Over the years I have developed my artistic interests as well. I discovered that art brought me closer to people. I was able to connect with strangers on a personal level as well as document what had occurred. I received my Master in Fine Art Photography from San Jose State University in 1999. My work is represented by Don Soker Gallery in San Francisco.

Art and science finally came together for me when I turned to homeopathy as a last resort for my ailing cat. It was a process of healing I had not expected. This gentle medicine eased the suffering that invasive procedures continued to provoke. Eventually, my diabetic cat no longer needed insulin injections and when at 15 years old it was time for her to go, she was able to die gracefully.
I finished my fourth and final year at the Institute of Classical Homeopathy and will continue to have a private practice in San Francisco.
