Elizabeth’s studies in the healing arts have been rich and varied through the years. She began her journey attaining a B.S. in botany at Eastern Illinois University, organically farming heirloom seeds, and creating her own flower essence business, Blossoming Essences. Later, Elizabeth graduated from the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics, and she studied Ayurvedic Medicine at the Dhyana Education and Rejuvenation Center.
Her practice features many
professional forms of bodywork, including shiatsu, tui na, marma chikitsa,
pregnancy massage, cranial-sacral, core synchronism, lymphatic drainage, fascia
release, polarity therapy, reflexology, trigger point work, connective tissue
and Swedish massage.
Her recent focus has been core
synchronism, an advanced form of cranial sacral and polarity that can harmonize
and align bones, the brain, other organs, glands, lymph and fascia to ones core
current or life force, creating deep stability, release and balance.
Elizabeth completed four years at the
Institute of Classical Homeopathy in San Francisco. She first discovered
homeopathy at the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics where she learned
that in the past, hospitals of natural therapeutics as well as homoeopathic
hospitals were closed down by the monopoly of western medicine in the United
States. This knowledge, as well as helplessly watching her father die of cancer
as he chose to be treated by western medicine, affirmed her deepening awareness
of alternative healing methods and prompted her focus in homeopathy.
Through her many years of
studying holistic therapies and the multifaceted ways of approaching healing,
she has come to know Classical Hahnemannian Homeopathy to be one of the most subtle,
thorough, profound and inspiring healing approach. Also, Classical Hahnemannian
Homeopathy engages the particular needs of each individual, mentally,
physically, emotionally and spiritually. What inspires Elizabeth the most is
homeopathy’s goal to help clients live their life to their fullest potential and
according to their individual higher purpose.
